This was a weird week for Arrow, in terms of the crazy minutia we generally look for.

There were a lot of re-runs of old Easter eggs, and not much else...but in many cases, those old ones haven't been used lately, so it's worth rehashing them a little bit.

So...what did we see? What did we miss? Read on, and comment below!

WOLFMAN BIOLOGICS

The firm Team Arrow breaks into this week to steal another vial of glowing greenish yellow stuff, which is totally different from all the other glowing green-yellow vials on the show, is Wolfman Biologics.

that's gotta be named in honor of Marv Wolfman, the prolific writer best known for his work on Teen Titans, The Adventures of Superman and Crisis on Infinite Earths.

LAWRENCE TANNER

This seems so random it could almost be a coincidence.

Lawrence Tanner was the name of an employee of LexCorp. Killed by Lex Luthor when he couldn't explain who was behind the sabotage of LexCorp technology in a one-off 1998 issue of Legends of the DC Universe.

The character, created by James Robinson and Val Semeiks, returned to print in 2011 when the Legends story was collected in a DC Comics Presents 100-page special.

ANDY DIGGLE

This one, we've talked about a few times, but it seems worth mentioning since Andy is now, as it turns out, alive -- and played a big role in this week's episode.

Andy Diggle is the name of a comic book writer. One of his best-selling works is Green Arrow: Year One, which heavily influenced the first season of Arrow.

John Diggle was originally named after the writer, and then when his brother's death became a plot point, he got the first name to solidify the reference.

52 AGAIN

Yep, the address at the docks? 52.

And, yes, there's a News 52 microphone in front of Oliver during his press event at the end.

LYLA MICHAELS

Again, we've talked about her before...but here's a refresher.

Lyla Michaels, a name that's familiar to comic book fans as Harbinger, she who's always around when there's a Crisis about to kick off.

Fun fact: Audrey Marie Anderson, who plays Lyla Michaels on Arrow, also starred for a while on AMC's The Walking Dead.

MERIDA

Yes, it's cute.

Damien Darhk, in his jovial way, referred to Speedy as "Merida," a wink and a nod to the young, female archer at the center of Disney/Pixar's Brave.

I think it's fair to say this is the first time we've had a big bad on Arrow who you could picture sitting on a couch watching Disney movies.

Merida is also currently appearing in live-action on ABC's Once Upon a Time.
