Arrow's Kevin Alejandro Joins Paranormal Drama From Lost's Carlton Cuse

Arrow's Brother Blood has joined the cast of The Returned, a new drama on A&E from former Lost producer Carlton Cuse.

Deadline reports that Kevin Alejandro, who played the evil mayor in the second season of Arrow, will star opposite Revolution's Mat Vairo and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland's Sophie Lowe in the pilot directed by Dexter's Keith Gordon.

Alejandro, who has also appeared on HBO's True Blood and in Kevin Smith's Garden State, exited Arrow in the second season's penultimate episode last month. Lowe played Alice in the short-lived Once Upon a Time spinoff set in Wonderland.

The series is a remake of a French show by the same name. It focuses on a small town turned upside down when several local people who have been long presumed dead suddenly reappear, bringing with them both positive and detrimental consequences. Alejandro will play the town's authoritative but accessible Sheriff Tommy Moran. Lowe plays Lena, one of Jack's (Pellegrino) two daughters. Vairo plays one of the returned, Simon, a musician who comes back 10 years after his death.
