When you get the chance to sit down with Stephen Amell, star of The CW's Arrow, for an extended period of time, it's easy to get lost in conversation. The actor is just as personable face-to-face as he is online, where he regularly interacts with his 4.7 million + facebook fans and 1.2 million twitter followers. During an exclusive interview with ComicBook.com at Heroes and Villains Fan Fest in New Jersey, it took until we had a minute left to actually talk about the plot of Arrow and what's coming up.

Luckily, he gave quite the tease, focusing on Malcolm Merlyn. The character, in many ways a dark reflection of his own, was a focus of teases over the weekend, as John Barrowman teased some "drastic" changes for his character in the near future.

"We got the all-time - the all-time end of an episode [coming up] where you just go, 'MERLYN! C'MON! Really?!'" Amell said emphatically, slapping his leg animatedly for added affect. "Plus John [Barrowman] and I have a showdown. It's - we have the Rematch of 1.23. The rematch three years in the making. It's pretty cool."

That same fight was teased a bit the night before at the party for Amell's winery, Nocking Point Wines.

"We had one fight, in episode 1.23, we had one fight," Amell. "We have another fight coming up..." Barrowman added, "In the fight that he's alluding to, this fight, we did a lot of the close-up stuff by ourselves. Our stunt guys did wide shots, but we did the close-up stuff ourselves, and that's all I'll say."

Anyone else suddenly feel like rewatching that original fight?

Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8pm on The CW.
