The second season of Ash Vs. Evil Dead is on its way to Starz this fall, and ahead of their appearances at Comic-Con International: San Diego, the studio has released the first teaser trailer for the season. After becoming a huge hit last year, with star Bruce Campbell and the Raimis returning to the franchise together, the second season looks like it'll have plenty of the action, horror, comedy fun that made the first so special. It also officially confirms that the series returns in October, 2016.
The teaser is definitely NSFW, unless your work includes vicious, gory depictions of blood and guts (literally - there are actual guts, more than once, including reanimated Evil-possessed guts. In Ash Vs. Evil Dead, guts eat YOU). It shows the whole crew from the end of season one together, including Lucy Lawless's Ruby, Ray Santiago's Pablo, and Dana DeLorenzo's Kelly, all in some delightfully butt-kicking moments. After the season finale saw the Book of the Dead taken, well, they have a lot of work to do.
Ash vs. Evil Dead will appear for signings, a massive outdoor exhibit (the house, recreated), and a panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
