Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron will more than likely not put up the same astronomical figures at the box office as its 2012 predecessor, but it has hurdled Frozen and Iron Man 3.

That's right, the Avengers sequel has moved into sixth place at the worldwide box office with $1.282 Billion. Marvel's Iron Man 3 now holds the eighth spot and Disney's Frozen slides down to seventh.

Avengers: Age of Ultron will need to earn another $60M to surge past Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 for fifth all-time.

When Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) jump-starts a dormant peacekeeping program, things go terribly awry, forcing him, Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and the rest of the Avengers to reassemble. As the fate of Earth hangs in the balance, the team is put to the ultimate test as they battle Ultron, a technological terror hell-bent on human extinction. Along the way, they encounter two mysterious and powerful newcomers, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff.
