The best Avengers movie trailer yet has hit, and it's not even an American version. The Japanese Avengers trailer has been creating quite a stir online over the new footage that it reveals. Comicbook.com has compiled a list of the five biggest new revelations from the Japanese Avengers movie trailer.

Avengers HelicarrierThe Helicarrier

– Wow! We had tried to imagine what the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier would look like on the big screen, and let's just say that Joss Whedon has exceeded all our expectations. Some rumored early screener feedback on The Avengers suggested that The Avengers might look too much like a TV movie, but that doesn't appear to be the case with the special effects we've seen so far. The Helicarrier is the most amazing vehicle we've seen in any movie…period.

Avengers Pepper PottsPepper Potts

– It was rumored that Gwyneth Paltrow would be appearing as Pepper Potts in The Avengers, but no one believes anything for sure until they see a picture. There has now been Pepper spotting, although very brief. Now, the question is how big a role will Pepper play in The Avengers. Our guess is that it will only be a brief scene, since she's been completely left out of the U.S. trailers so far.

HawkeyeHawkeye Speaks

– It's ironic that the first time we actually see Hawkeye speak that it's in a foreign trailer for the movie. Fortunately, even though it's a Japanese trailer, Hawekeye is speaking in English. All those rumors about Hawkeye being mute for the entire movie are now debunked. Here's Hawkeye's line, "I got 'em."

Avengers Agent Maria HillAgent Maria Hill Appears

– Well, everyone knew Cobie Smulders would be playing Agent Maria Hill in The Avengers, but it's nice to see a major segment involving her. Agent Maria Hill delivers the line, "Who would bring these people together and not expect what happened?" Um, Maria, wasn't it your boss Nick Fury who brought everyone together? Way to throw the boss-man under the bus.

Avengers Alien PortalAlien Portal

– Even though we got a close-up look at the Avengers aliens, there is still question as to exactly who the aliens are. One big question did get answered though, which was how the aliens got to Earth. In earlier U.S. trailers, it appeared as if the aliens might be entering through some type of interdimensional portal, but the Japanese trailer leaves no question about it. The aliens are definitely arriving through a portal. Does this rule out Atlanteans as they wouldn't need a portal to reach Earth? Or could Loki still use a portal to transport them? Even though the portal is clearly positioned in the sky, it does give the appearance that the aliens are splashing out of water.
