is reporting that the producers of Batman vs. Superman are looking to cast a young, physically fit, black actor for a role in the film. The role is reportedly a small role for Batman Vs. Superman, but is said to be a recurring role in the DC Cinematic Universe. Snyder has reportedly met with Michael B. Jordan for the part, which suggests it would eventually be a major role, since Jordan is a very in demand actor currently. So what role is this for? We can't say for certain, but Cyborg seems likely. We already know that Henry Cavill would like to see Cyborg in the film, and a young, fit, black man certainly fits the description. In talking about Easter Eggs in Man of Steel, Cavill said, ""What really intrigued me was Dr. Emil Hamilton's references to S.T.A.R. Labs. Cyborg I think would make a wonderful character, and an incredible bridge between both superhumans and humanity in a different way to Batman. And so I don't know where he's going to come in or if he's going to come in, but that's one I'm particularly excited about." On top of that, we know there was a football scene shot for the film last year, which could be tied into Cyborg's backstory as a high school football star. Obviously this is far from confirmation, but the clues all add up so far. Batman vs. Superman is scheduled to hit theaters May 6, 2016.
