Benedict Cumberbatch Jokes About Doctor Strange

About a week ago, the internet was a buzzing with the news that Benedict Cumberbatch would be playing Doctor Strange in the Marvel Studios film. An official confirmation was expected, it's been a week and, still, nothing.

About two weeks before the news broke, the hosts of IGN's superhero show happened to pop a question about Doctor Strange to Cumberbatch. Cumberbatch jokingly played dumb, asking for the hosts to explain who Doctor Strange was and nodding along before looking at the camera and taking a long drink water, then admitting that he knows a bit about Doctor Strange and that "maybe" it's a character he would like to play.

As the hosts say, it's a bit of a "cheeky" response. The playful non-answer seems to imply that the report of him being in negotiations is at least true, but we're still stuck waiting for the deal to be finalized.
