Over the weekend, Bill Murray gave his blessing to the idea of an all-female Ghostbusters reboot. Not only does Murray support the concept, but he has some opinions on who he thinks would make for a good cast.

In an interview with The Star at the Toronto International Film Festival, Murray said, "I'm fine with it. I would go to that movie, and they'd probably have better outfits, too."

While Murray personally has no involvement in the reboot, he also offered up some thoughts on who he would like to see in the film.

"Melissa [McCarthy] would be a spectacular Ghostbuster. And Kristen Wiig is so funny — God, she's funny! I like this girl Linda Cardellini (Mad Men) a lot. And Emma Stone is funny. There are some funny girls out there," said Murray.

The Star also caught up with Melissa McCarthy to see what she thought of the all-female Ghostbusters idea.

"I think that somebody is really trying to do it, but nobody has talked to me about it," said McCarthy. "Listen, if the people I think are doing it are doing it, I must never question them."

In regards if she would star in a female Ghostbusters film with some of the other women rumored to be up for roles, "Oh, my God, that's daunting. That's taking on a legend, a legendary movie. But I would do anything with those ladies, anything at all."
