Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier Gets an Ongoing From Ales Kot and Marco Rudy

Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier, will get a new, ongoing series launching in October, Marvel Comics announced today via the AV Club.

Titled Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier, the series will be written by Ales Kot and feature art and colors by Marco Rudy...and it will neatly avoid the "All-New" that's been tagged on the front of so many of Marvel's All-New Marvel NOW titles, particularly ones (like Winter Soldier) that are relaunching recently-concluded or recently-cancelled titles.

The character's profile is about as high as it could be reasonably expected to be, given the success both commercially and critically of Captain America: The Winter Soldier earlier this year.
