C2E2: Mars Attacks Judge Dredd Announced From IDW

While this piece of promotional art seems like it's been around for a while, IDW Publishing have just announced that it's attached to an actual project: this fall, Mars Attacks Judge Dredd. Those green-skinned, big-headed aliens from Mars Attacks have been making appearances all over IDW's line since John Layman and John McCrea first announced they were launching a new Mars Attacks series--but it's hard to imagine anything quite as potentially bloody, over the top and generally awesome as an invading horde coming face to face with Dredd. IDW is treating it like the suitably brain-candy spectacle it is. Here, in part, is their official announcement for the book:
