Captain America 3 To Be Directed By Anthony & Joe Russo

is reporting that Anthony and Joe Russo, directors of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, will return to direct Captain America 3. This news comes even before The Winter Soldier's release and before the third film has been officially put into production. Sources say that Marvel has been thoroughly impressed with the work the Russo brothers have done on The Winter Soldier and that the film is testing well. Official negotiations won't begin until after The Winter Soldier's release. Though it hasn't been officially announced, many actors in The Winter Soldier have options in their contract for a third film, making the idea of a third film likely unless The Winter Soldier does poorly. Kevin Feige will produce and Chris Evans will return as Steve Rogers. No official writer has been named, though the Russo brothers are said to be working on an outline. No release date has been announced. Captain America: The Winter Soldier will be released in theaters on April 4, 2014.
