Captain America: The Winter Solider Comic-Con Trailer

While it was once a cause for concern when blockbuster movies went back for reshoots, it's become standard operating procedure for Marvel Studios. Both Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World did some reshoots. With Marvel Studios building an entire universe around their characters, reshoots are probably more typical than with most movies, because new ideas likely come up that can play into future films. According to The Daily Superhero, Marvel Studios will be doing two days of reshoots on Captain America: The Winter Solider this year. The reshoots will reportedly take place on December 16 and 17, 2013. After the holidays, the cast and crew will then reassemble for two weeks of reshoots in January, 2014. No information was provided on location for the reshoots, how many cast members will be involved, or when in January the reshoots will occur. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on April 4, 2014.
