Captain America: The Winter Soldier Trailer Released Online

Marvel Studios have released the trailer for Captain America: The Winter Soldier. You can check it out embedded below. The first film the studio has made based directly on a specific comic book story, Captain America: The Winter Soldier follows Steve Rogers as he deals with a skilled and powerful new foe who has a strikingly familiar backstory. Based on the story by Ed Brubaker, the film also appears to feature elements of Bob Harras's Nick Fury vs. S.H.I.E.L.D. story. A lot of the footage seen here is familiar to those who saw the D23 footage, but to most of the world this is all-new, plus/minus the 15-second preview and the 55-second extended preview that were released yesterday. Captain America: The Winter Soldier is due in theaters on April 4, 2014.
