After Comes the Krampus! is completed and Kevin Smith begins production on Clerks III, fans will see Jay and Silent Bob in live action again--probably for the last time. "Clerks III would be the next time" Smith brought Jay and Silent Bob back, he told fans during a Q&A session on Facebook Friday, "and likely the last. But it's a great ending to the Jay/Bob story in that flick." Of course, their last live-action appearance, in 2006's Clerks II, also gave the pair a pretty solid wrap-up--as investors in the Quick Stop and RST Video and thus able to continue peddling their wares on the property unmolested--as did 2001's Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, in which Jay met the love of his life (she went to prison, but he promised to wait). The film itself will likely shoot in the American southeast, Smith revealed. When a fan suggested he shoot in Atlanta, Smith responded that the city was one of the candidates--another being North Carolina. Clerks was shot on location in Leonardo, New Jersey. Clerks II was shot primarily in Buena Park, California with a shut-down Burger King redressed as a Mooby's, and some shots filmed in New Jersey for the beginning and end of the film where the characters revisited the Quick Stop and RST Video. Oh, and just in case anybody was wondering? A fan did ask just what it was that Bartleby, Ben Affleck's character from Dogma, whispered in the ear of the Mooby's executive that caused him to break down crying. You can see Smith's answer below...
