Community - Season 5

In spite of rumors that Hulu wants to make a sixth season of Community and fans clamoring for more from a new network or a streaming service, series creator Dan Harmon says it's likely finished. "We all know what happened yesterday, we all got drunk," Harmon said on his Harmontown podcast at the Bridgetown Comedy Festival, to which he was headed when he got the call from Sony. "I was in a place of grief…It'll take weeks to sink in." "I was on my way to LAX and somebody from Sony called me," Harmon said. "The fans of that show have more reason to be upset than I do. I can try to make another show and also I got paid for every minute I cared about that show. The people that are most devastated are people who put unpaid labor into the show. They didn't get compensated for it. They loved the show." In spite of all of this, Deadline reports that Harmon is "ready to move onto other things," including his Rick and Morty animated series, which was recently renewed for a second season on Adult Swim.
