CW's Tomorrow People Remake Joins Arrow on Wednesday Nights

Last year, Arrow's being teamed with Supernatural seemed like a perfect fit; here was a network with genre TV scheduled to compliment one another--Arrow with great word-of-mouth and Supernatural with a proven track record and a hardcore fan base. Well, next year is even more on the nose, as Arrow teams up with a remake of the British superhero series The Tomorrow People--which stars Robbie Amell, the brother of Arrow star Stephen. The series is the story of several young people from around the world who represent the next stage in human evolution, possessing special powers, including the ability to teleport and communicate with each other telepathically. Together they work to defeat the forces of evil. The pair will air back to back on Wednesdays, with Arrow retaining its 8 p.m. slot and serving as , presumably, a strong lead in for Tomorrow People.
