The new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer has brought many fans to tears — tears of joy! Now just imagine how emotionally-powerful it must be for the young stars of the film and seeing those gorgeous visuals for the very first time.

Daisy Ridley ('Rey'), 23, is still a relatively unknown British actress, but in 2 months time she will become a household name all across the globe. And today, she set her alarm so that she could watch the third trailer right when it came out this evening and had her friend film her initial reaction to it.

"Totally emotional seeing it for the first time and so so so incredibly awed to be part of this incredible legacy," Ridley posted on Instagram. In the video itself, she exclaims through a puddle of happy-tears, "Oh my god, it's amazing!"

Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens in U.S. theaters on December 18.
