Paramount Pictures is taking this whole Transformers cinematic universe thing really seriously. They just added Steven DeKnight, the man that led Netflix's Daredevil and Starz's Spartacus, to their all-star writers room.

DeKnight tweeted the news:

DeKnight joins the writers room, which already includes: Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down), Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Hibernation), Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead), Iron Man scribes Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, Zak Penn (X-Men: The Last Stand), Jeff Pinkner (The Amazing Spider-Man 2), Lindsey Beer (How To Nail An Alien) and Christina Hodson (Unforgettable).

They'll be developing script treatments together for Transformers prequels, sequels and spinoffs. Although, it is expected that each writer will work on their own film script. That's a lot of scripts!
