Darth Vader Really Is His Father Military Homecoming Video

With all the Star Wars news going around, here's a heartwarming story that has gone viral. A U.S. Navy soldier hadn't seen his kids for almost 3 months, and his kids didn't think they would see him again for another seven months. The son had a Star Wars party so he could be Luke Skywalker. At the party he engaged in a lightsaber battle with Darth Vader, who he thought was his older cousin. Except Darth Vader wasn't his older cousin. In a true Star Wars moment, it turns out that Darth Vader was his father, who had gotten 96 hours of leave time from the military. When the son unmasks Darth Vader, he doesn't quite have the same reaction that Luke Skywalker had upon learning that Darth Vader was his father. The son and also the daughter (dressed as Princess Leia) rush over to give their dad a hug. Likely due to the combination of Veterans Day and all the recent attention on Star Wars, the video has already racked up over 380K views on YouTube.
