In the latest stretch goal to hit the We Can Be Heroes Indiegogo campaign, through which DC is funding an effort to care for starving children in the Horn of Africa by selling off premiums like exclusive comics and signed movie posters, surpassed their $50,000 goal in a matter of days and have been adding stretch goals since. Currently, with a month left they're looking to hit $90,000 by the end of the campaign, and are sitting at about $84,000 so far. Up until today, the top rewards cost around $100 and were things like signed copies of the Injustice: Gods Among Us video game. DC upped the ante in a big way today by offering two lucky (and well-to-do) fans the opportunity to donate $10,000 to the campaign and get tickets, airfare and a hotel room for Comic-Con...plus a lunch for the bidder and their guest (your guest gets airfare and hotel, too, so don't worry) with DC Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns and Batman: Earth One artist Gary Frank. Comic-Con sold out in 90 minutes this year, and the DC promotion is one of only a few ways that fans can still gain access. You can see Johns talking about the campaign in the video below.
