Drew Struzan Says Star Wars: The Force Awakens Will Probably Be Best Star Wars Ever

Drew Struzan has a pretty good picture of how good Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be. And when you're one of the most respected poster painters in film history, your opinion is key.

So it's good then, that the legendary artist behind every cinematic Star Wars poster ever (including the recently-released The Force Awakens one-sheet) is a big fan of what he's seen so far. In fact, Struzan is going so far as to say that The Force Awakens is the best Star Wars film in all history.

"I got to read the script and subsequently I've seen half of it
(THE FORCE AWAKENS) and I can tell you and the fans this,
honest to god, it is far and away probably going to be THE BEST
Star Wars you've ever seen," Struzan recently told Movie-Weekly.

Those are some big words to drop, but we'll put a little faith in the man who's been through the thick and thin of the Star Wars franchise. But even if Struzan's assessment is way off the mark, at least we'll have one more of his beautiful posters to add to our collection.
