El Rey Picks Up Constantine Distribution Rights Among Others

Robert Rodriguez's El Rey Network has acquired off-network cable rights for episodes of the short-lived TV series Constantine and Almost Human in a deal with Warner Bros Domestic TV Distribution, Deadline reports.

Re-runs of both series will will roll out in November. The network also acquired V: The Series, the V miniseries, Mortal Kombat: Conquest, Freddy's Nightmares, the 2002 reboot of The Twilight Zone and Night Visions.

Matt Ryan, who played John Constantine on NBC's Constantine last season, will appear in an episode of Arrow this season.

Freddy's Nightmares and Mortal Kombat will reportedly air in 2015, while the others are expected to hold off until 2016.
