EXCLUSIVE: Grant Morrison and Dan Mora's Klaus #1 Heads For Second Printing

Grant Morrison and Dan Mora's first issue of Klaus, their hit new comic series that details the dark, gritty origin of the one and only Santa Claus, has sold out at the distributor level and will be rushed to second printings to fill demand, publisher BOOM! Studios has confirmed exclusively for ComicBook.com

Klaus #1's second printing ships with a re-colored main cover by Mora and carries a retail price of $3.99. Orders close on November 23rd through Diamond Comics Distributors, and copies are anticipated to be in stores on December 9th (in time for Christmas, of course).

Klaus has been acclaimed by critics around comics, and is sure to find success outside of the diret market when it's eventually collected, between the source material and the involvement of Morrison, a darling of the academic and bookstore markets for comics.

Set in a dark fantastic past of myth and magic, Klaus tells the story of how Santa Claus really came to be. Where did he begin? What was he like when he was young?
