Josh Trank and 20th Century Fox's Fantastic Four reboot will begin filming on March 31, 2014, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, according to a report from Production Weekly, an industry trade. No casting or plot details have been released yet, but some of that information should be coming along soon, since there is apparently not much time to get contracts signed. Miles Teller and Michael B. Jordan are rumored to be in the running for the roles of Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic and Johnny Storm/The Human Torch, respectively. The film, which is expected to shoot under the fake name "Henry Street" to minimize unwanted attention, is expected in theaters on June 19, 2015, just a month before Batman vs. Superman and six weeks prior to Avengers: Age of Ultron. The film was originally scheduled to start filming by now for a 2014 release, but X-Men: First Class's Simon Kinberg was called in to punch up the script before production started, suggesting that the delay may have been about getting the story right.
