The Walking Dead's companion series officially has a name.
The series will be called "Fear The Walking Dead." Robert Kirkman, writer of The Walking Dead comic and television series, tweeted out the confirmation of the rumored title for the series.

Fear The Walking Dead was recently picked up as a series with two seasons ordered. The first season, a six episode run, will premiere this summer. Earlier today, ComicBook.com reported that the first trailer for the series will air Sunday night during The Walking Dead's 90 minute season 5 finale.
Fear The Walking Dead adds an all-new cast to The Walking Dead world. Cliff Curtis, Kim Dickens, Frank Dillane and Alicia Debnam Carey play a family struggling survival during the events of the zombie apocalypse in Los Angeles. Kirkman will executive produce and bring his team from The Walking Dead along, comprised of Gale Anne Hurd, Greg Nicotero, and David Alpert.
