Funky Monkey Announces Avengers & Spider-Man Line Of Fruit Snacks

With Marvel Characters taking over the box office, it's not surprising that their characters are winding up in a lot more product merchandising deals. Today, Funky Monkey Snacks, announced at Natural Foods Expo West 2013 that it has partnered with Marvel for a new line of kid-friendly freeze-dried fruit snacks. The packaging on the snakes features Spider-Man, Hulk, Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man. Funky Monkey Snacks' new Marvel product line includes Ultimate Strawberries featuring Spider-Man, Incredible Pineapples featuring The Hulk, Mighty Bananas Thor, Legendary Cinnamon Apples featuring the Captain America, and Invincible Strawberry Bananas Iron Man. "Funky Monkey Snacks are the preferred choice for healthy, crunchy and delicious snacks with families all across America," said Matt Herzog, President of Funky Monkey Snacks. "The addition of Funky Monkey's freeze-dried fruit to our licensed consumables program reflects Marvel's dedicated efforts to providing families with healthy snack choices," said Mike Jerchower, Director of Licensing for Marvel Consumer Products. All Funky Monkey Snacks in the Marvel line are 100% real fruit, nutritionally equivalent to their fresh counterparts. Each is 100% all natural, fat-free and gluten free, with absolutely no additives. The products are vegan, kosher, made in peanut-free facilities and packed exclusively in the U.S.A. Funky Monkey Snacks' new Marvel product line will be available April 1, 2013.
