Game of Thrones

In anticipation of the season 4 premiere of Game of Thrones, HBO is giving audiences a chance to get caught up on the series by airing a weekend long, 60-hour Game of Thrones marathon on HBO2. The marathon will begin on Friday, April 4 at 9:00 a.m. ET/PT on HBO2. Game of Thrones' first three season (10 episodes each) will be aired back-to-back, twice, for 60 straight hours.  The second airing of the season finale of Game of Thrones Season 3 will end at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Sunday, April 6, just in time for the Season 4 premiere on HBO at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. In addition, HBO will be launching the Game of Thrones Viewers Guide, an online companion to the show that presents fans with exclusive content for every episode of the series. The Game of Thrones Viewers Guide is now available online and on mobile and tablet devices. The Game of Thrones Viewers Guide features interactive maps of Westeros and Essos, character bios, and an up-to-date "Guide to the Houses." The Game of Thrones Viewer's Guide also includes episodic content, like videos that go deeper into each episode's story, including "Inside the Episode" features with executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. There will also be interviews with cast members and creator George R.R. Martin, plus video featurettes that provide a behind-the-scenes look at the making of each episode. Based on the popular book series A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin, the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning Games of Thrones is an epic series whose storylines of treachery and nobility, family and honor, ambition and love, and death and survival, have captured the imagination of fans globally and made it one of the most popular shows on television. Game of Thrones Season 4 premiers on HBO on April 6.
