Game Of Thrones: Hodor Gets A Hold The Door Cake

In last week's heartbreaking episode of Game of Thrones, we learned how the stable boy Wylis grew-up to be the gentle giant who could only utter one word: "Hodor." Many fans are still mourning his loss, but the actor who portrayed him, Kristian Nairn, is eating up the spotlight.

A couple days ago, while staying at a W Hotel, Nairn received a cake — made by chef Rachel Newman — shaped to look like the door Hodor valiantly held shut, keeping Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) and Meera safe from the Army of the Dead.

Nairn even shared a slice with Isaac. “Even after all he’s done,” Nairn joked, referring to all of the pain Hodor suffered because of Bran's actions. “still willing to give him some of my cake.”

Returned to my room to find this !!! Amazing , thank you so much Rachel and @whotels

Outside the door of the cave, Meera pulls the sledge into the blizzard, yelling for Hodor to 'hold the door' against the relentless wights. As he does so, his past-self, Wylis – linked to him through Bran’s powers – begins to repeat Meera’s command. The dead grasp at Hodor, tearing at him, but he refuses to let them through, sacrificing himself to save his friends. In the past, Bran watches the convulsing young Wylis fuse 'Hold the door' into one word: 'Hodor.' The only word he’ll ever speak again. - HBO
