Game of Thrones Season 4

The season finale of the hugely successful fourth season of Game of Thrones will air this Sunday, and fans are eagerly anticipating finding out how this seasons' plot threads all wrap up. Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss say that the episode will not disappoint.

"It's the best finale we've ever done, bar none," Weiss and Benioff said in a joint statement (via EW). "The performances from our cast, the direction from Alex Graves, the VFX work, the new [music] cues from Ramin Djawadi—all of it came together in perhaps the finest hour we've produced. We're immensely proud of 'The Children.' And a little intimidated by the episode, because now we have to get back to the business of season five and figure out a way to top it."

In the Game of Thrones Season Four finale, titled "The Children," an unexpected arrival north of the Wall changes circumstances. Dany (Emilia Clarke) is forced to face harsh realities. Bran (Isaac Hempstead Wright) learns more of his destiny. Tyrion sees the truth of his situation.

The season four finale of Game of Thrones will air Sunday, June 15 at 9 PM ET on HBO.
