Commissioner Gordon The Dark Knight Rises

Those clever reporters. Every time Gary Oldman shows up at an event, they try to wiggle a little Dark Knight Rises information out of him. At the Jameson Empire Awards 2012, Hey You Guys quizzed Gary Oldman, who plays Commissioner Gordon in Nolan's Batman trilogy. When asked about if there would be any difficulty understanding Tom Hardy as Bane, Oldman appeared to be unaware of the controversy. Oldman said he had no trouble understanding Hardy on the set. When pressed for other information on the film, Oldman said he was sworn to secrecy, but he promised the movie "delivers big time" and is "epic." When asked what he did with his script, Oldman joked, "I ate mine." Then, Oldman went on to reveal that he actually kept his script, but that he kept it in a safe place. So where is that safe place that Gary Oldman keeps his Dark Knight Rises script? In a interview with BBC News, Oldman reveals that when staying in a hotel that he hides it between the mattress and the bed, because it's too big to fit in a safe. Oldman even recalls panicking one time when he thought he had lost his script. Of particular interest in the BBC News report is the great lengths that Christopher Nolan goes through to protect the script. Scripts that are given out don't have endings, and the characters names sometimes change.
