Ghost In The Shell: Arise To Be Adapted Into A Stage Play

Ghost in the Shell: Arise, the latest anime iteration of the popular cyberpunk series,is being adapted for the stage.

The play will directed by Shutaro Oku, who has the Persona 3, Persona 4, Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena, and Blood-C stage plays. The play will be directed Blood-C and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Project anime writer Jun'ichi Fujisaku.

The play is set to run at the Tokyo Geijutsu Gekijō Playhouse from November 5-15.

The four-episode Ghost in the Shell: Arise OVA finished its run in Japan in August.
