When providing some details on the Avengers: Age Of Ultron storyline for the Avengers sequel, Joss Whedon revealed that Ultron's creator Hank Pym wouldn't be in the movie. Of course, this piece of news had fans wondering if Marvel Studios was saving Hank Pym for the Ant-Man movie or if they just planned to leave him out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe altogether. In an interview with Io9, Ant-Man director Edgar Wright clarified that Hank Pym will indeed be in his Ant-Man movie. Of course, the fact that Hank Pym will be in Ant-Man still leaves it a little bit up in the air as to if he will be the film's main character. Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym was the first Ant-Man so the first though might be that the Ant-Man movie would focus around his origin story. However, since Edgar Wright merely confirmed that Hank Pym would be in the movie, it's also possible that Hank Pym plays a supporting role, and Scott Lang, who stole the Ant-Man technology from Pym, is the central character. But at least fans know for sure now that Hank Pym will be in Ant-Man in some form of fashion. Ant-Man is scheduled to be released in movie theaters on November 6, 2015.
