Happy Birthday! Anthony Mackie Turns 37 Today

Happy birthday, Falcon! Anthony Mackie is celebrating his 37th birthday today.

Mackie, who has starred in Academy Award winning films such as The Hurt Locker alongside Jeremy Renner and Million Dollar Baby, got his cinematic start in Eminem's biopic, 8 Mile, where he played Papa Doc - one of the guys Eminem freestyle rapped against. Around here, of course, we know him as Sam Wilson a.k.a. The Falcon and can't wait to see him in Captain America: Civil War, come May. He has already appeared in two Marvel Studios films: Captain America: The Winter Soldier and this summer's Ant-Man.

In 2001, Mackie graduated from the prestigious Julliard School. 8 Mile released in 2002. Quick work, Falcon!
