Happy Birthday! Melissa Benoist Turns 27 Today

Happy birthday, Supergirl! Melissa Benoist is celebrating her 27th birthday today.

Benoist, who is best known internationally for her work on Glee, is known to our ComicBook.com community as Supergirl, of course! Benoist will debut as the titular hero on CBS's Supergirl on October 26.

In 2013, Benoist won a Teen Choice Award for her work as Marley Rose of Glee, but prior to taking off in the musical high school series, Benoist landed several minor roles on other shows, such as Law and Order: Criminal Intent, The Good Wife, Blue Blood, and Law and OrdeR: SVU. She also appeared in this year's Nicholas Sparks film, The Longest Ride with Scott Eastwood and Britt Robertson.
