While most of the Super Bowl ad time is accounted for, the fact that the big game will be broadcast on NBC tonight has raised an interesting question with some fans:

Now that we've got a little bit more in the way of casting and details about the series, might we get a Heroes Reborn teaser during Super Bowl XLIX?

The network managed to surprise everyone by announcing Heroes Reborn during their Olympic coverage, sneaking the teaser spot in under the cover of being a house ad for network programming.

That was nearly a year ago, though, and while we've got an official synopsis now, we haven't actually seen any additional promotional material.

Of course, there will be those who remember Heroes' previous Super Bowl ad, which aired in 2009...!

The saga behind the 2006 breakout series Heroes will continue as creator Tim Kring returns to the fold and develops new layers to his original superhero concept. This highly anticipated 13-episode miniseries will reconnect with the basic elements of the show's first season where ordinary people were waking up to the fact that they had extraordinary abilities. This series will be preceded by a new digital series that will introduce audiences to the new characters and storylines that will take the Heroes phenomenon to new places.
