Hasbro has already started to tease some of its Iron Man 3-branded toys and, while they've done their best to avoid spoilers, one minor thing did peek through: Iron Man's new armor will, as widely rumored, be called Mark XLII. Comic Book Movie found solicitation text for both the Mark 42 armor and an Iron Patriot release that confirms that's what they're calling War Machine this time around. Rumor has it that the 42nd iteration of Iron Man's armor will come as a result of dozens of trial-and-error tests leading to the first functioning Extremis-powered armor. All of his previous suits, as well as the failed trial armors, are rumored to be destroyed in an explosion at his home. Formally, the War Machine thing had already been "confirmed" by filmmakers and actors but a number of fans and even some rumor sites clung to the idea that someone would pop up wearing the "Osborn Armor" and turn out not to be Rhodey Rhodes but a villain for the film instead.

The figures are part of the Marvel Select line of action figures. Check out the solicitation text (and non-spoiler images of the figures' silhouettes) below.
