Iron Man 3 Trailer: Five Best Moments

The new Iron Man 3 released Tuesday was a mixture of previously seen footage combined with brand new footage. Robert Downey Jr. served as sort of a narrator to introduce the trailer. Initial reaction from fans to the trailer has been extremely positive, as the trailer tells a mini-story of the battle between Tony Stark and The Mandarin. We've compiled a list of the five best moments from the new trailer below, as would probably be expected we focused on the new footage. 5. The Mandarin Spreads His Wings - This isn't the first look that fans have had at The Mandarin, but it's the most extensive look. The Mandarin offers Tony Stark a choice, "Do you want an empty life or a meaningful death?" However, our favorite scene with The Mandarin is when he spreads out his arms, revealing his tattered robe.

- When Tony Stark leaps off a high structure and straight into a suit of armor, it's probably the most visually pleasing moment in the trailer. It's one of the most impressive scenes we've ever seen in a superhero movie. In fact, it's something that looks like it's straight off the comic book page.

-As Tony Stark and James Rhodey are playing the buddy cop scene, Rhodey tells Stark that it's his job to call in backup. And does Stark ever call in the reinforcements.

- With Iron Man armor on one hand firing a repulsor ray and a machine gun in the other hand, Tony Stark is a force to be reckoned with. Seeing Tony Stark have to rely on a good old fashioned machine gun is not something most would expect to see in Iron Man 3, which might be why it stands out so much.

- Marvel Studios definitely knows how to stick the landing. Just like the Avengers wowed fans with the Hulk, Iron Man 3 wows fans with Hulkbuster armor (or whatever it winds up being called). The last moment in the trailer is the best, and the moment that all fans are raving about.
