Iron Man 3 Trailer Release Date Revealed

You know a movie is highly anticipated when even the release date for the trailer is big news. While San Diego Comic-Con attendees got an early look at some Iron Man 3 footage, the rest of the world has been eagerly awaiting the debut of the Iron Man 3 trailer. There have been lots of rumors as to when the first Iron Man 3 trailer would debut. Rumors circulated that it might appear with The Avengers re-release or The Avengers DVD, but neither proved to be true. Others have been holding out hope for the possibility that it might premiere in front of Frankenweenie, which debuts in the U.S. on October 5, but it looks like that won't happen either. Eonline.com is reporting that the Iron Man 3 trailer will be officially released on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 12:01 AM. Yahoo Movies backs up the October 23 release date, but they give themselves some leeway by labeling it as expected. Odds are with both these sources reporting October 23, it's a good bet that's the date, and it matches up with a report that Marvel's Louis D'Esposito said it would debut in mid to late October.
