And the debate rages on.

Look, according to George Lucas, he didn't intend for Han Solo to shoot Greedo before Greedo took a shot. He reiterated his stance, as seen in the Special Edition version of Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope, just this week. But fans, and even some very high-profile ones, still disagree.

That number now officially includes actor John Boyega, who chimed in with EW on their radio show. The actor that plays Finn in Star Wars: The Force Awakens had very strong feelings about it.

"Wait, wait, Han did shoot first, by the way. I don't know where the debate is," Boyega said. "Han shot first. Yes. Aboslutely." He even explained the scenario, and how ridiculous it would be for Greedo to get off the first shot. "He had his feet up and he had the gun aimed way early on. He shot first, okay? That's that. Done. Finished."

Unfortunately for fans that agree, the special editions are considered canon, which means George Lucas's final word on the matter means more in the context of the Star Wars universe. But we're with you, John.
