With almost every celebrity on the planet having completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, maybe Karen Gillan can start a new challenge with the video she tweeted out earlier today. When Gillan was cast in Guardians of the Galaxy, she was asked to shave her head for the role of Nebula.
Of course the actual shaving happened quite some time ago, but Gillan is just now sharing the video, and we're hoping it starts a new trend. Really, given how well the first Guardians of the Galaxy did at the box office, what star wouldn't shave their head at this point for a chance to be in a Guardians of the Galaxy film?
Maybe, director James Gunn can have everybody who auditions for the sequel do it. We can hear Gunn now, "Yeah, I'm gonna need you to shave your head. No, really, I'm going to need you to shave your head."
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is scheduled to be released in theaters on July 28, 2017.
