Kevin Smith Suggests Avengers And Star Wars Crossover

While everyone has been clamoring for an Avengers, X-Men, and Spider-Man movie crossover, director and fanboy Kevin Smith has a different idea. During a recent Hollywood Babble-On Podcast, Smith and co-host Ralph Garman chatted about recent Marvel and Star Wars movie news, which led to Smith putting forth the following idea.

"I was thinking about this the other day. They are both owned by Disney: Marvel and Star Wars. When they get done making all their Marvel movies, it might be like twenty years from now, and they get done making all these new Star Wars movies, they could literally cross those universes over, because they own both of them."- Kevin Smith

Smith went on to propose some possible crossovers such as Darth Vader fighting The Avengers. As far as how he would get around Star Wars being set a long time ago, Smith suggested time travel would be involved.
