Kung Fury Trailer Features Vikings, Dinosaurs, & A Kung Fu Cop

Kung Fury is described as over-the-top action comedy that has its foundation in 80s cop movies. And judging by the Kung Fury trailer, over-the-top is an understatement. Kung Fury features arcade-robots, dinosaurs, nazis, vikings, norse gods, mutants and a super kung fu-cop called Kung Fury. Here's the plot synopsis for Kung Fury: "During an unfortunate series of events a friend of Kung Fury is assassinated by the most dangerous kung fu master criminal of all time; Adolf Hitler, a.k.a Kung Führer. Kung Fury decides to travel back in time, to Nazi Germany, in order to kill Hitler and end the Nazi empire once and for all." Before you rush to the theater to look for the first showing of Kung Fury, it should be pointed out that the movie has not been completed yet. The Kung Fury trailer has been released as part of a Kickstarter campaign to finish the film. Most of the footage for a thirty minute film has been shot, but it was shot on greenscreen, so money needs to be raised to complete the extensive visual effects. Writer and director David Sandberg is trying to raise $200,000 on Kickstarter to complete a thirty minute film, which will be released online for free. However, if Sandberg raises $1 million, then he will turn Kung Fury into a full length feature film.
