American Horror Story: Hotel has revealed Lady Gaga's character.
And no, she won't play the fame monster As revealed during this week's Television Critics Association Press Tour, Gaga's character sounds an awful lot like Gaga herself, complete with an obsession with stylized art and fashion.
"Her character's name is Elizabeth," said American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy. "She owns the hotel, and she is sort of a very wealthy social doyenne who is consumed with art and fashion and people and she has a nefarious plan that is revealed in the first episode and plays out over the course of the season. She starts shooting on Monday."
Additionally, it looks like we're going to see Gaga's character mingle quite a bit with the other members of the cast. Murphy mentioned that she'll have "relationships" (the biblical kind) with co-stars Matt Bomer, Finn Wittrock and Cheyenne Jackson as well as Angela Basset.
