The Fantastic Four comic book series ended with issue #588 to be replaced with the FF comic book series. For those who mourned the loss of a possible issue #600 when the original series ended, things might be looking up. Today, on the 5oth Anniversary of the publication of Fantastic Four #1, Marvel Comics released a teaser image that suggests the return of the Fantastic Four. The teaser image shows the familiar Fantastic Four logo in front of a photo of the Earth taken from space. Across the top of the teaser image are the last names of the comic creators Jonathan Hickman, Steve Epting, Carmine Di Gianomencio, Leinil Francis Yu, and Farel Dalrymple. Along the bottom of the teaser image is the date November 2011. Could this mean that FF will come to an end and the series will return to the old name Fantastic Four and old numbering with issue #600? Another possible meaning for the teaser image is that Johnny Storm will return to the living. The Human Torch hasn't been dead for that long, so this would seem awful early for his return, but it's always a possibility.
