ABC have released a new episode description for the upcoming, ninth episode of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., coming on November 26 from Marvel Studios.
S.H.I.E.L.D.Site first noticed the description, which you can see below:
A MYSTERIOUS FORCE HAUNTS THE TEAM, ON ABC’S “MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.”
“Repairs” – Coulson and his team are haunted by a mysterious force that threatens to destroy them all, and only a secret from May’s past can save them, on “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 26 (8:00-9:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
“Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” stars Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Ming-Na Wen as Agent Melinda May, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Chloe Bennet as Skye, Iain De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz and Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Jemma Simmons.
Guest starring are Robert Baker as Tobias, Laura Seay as Hannah, Christopher Gehrman as Taylor and. Josh Clark as Roger.
”Repairs” was written by Maurissa Tancharoen & Jed Whedon and directed by Billy Gierhart.
Certainly, the use of the word "haunted" is interesting considering that the supernatural side of the Marvel Universe is one that Doctor Strange is going to necessitate some movement on but which has, up until now, been nothing but derided or handwaved away, particularly on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. It's probably a loose use of the term, but still...!
This week's episode of the series will introduce Marvel Comics supporting character Victoria Hand, and next week's will tie into the events of Thor: The Dark World, so "Repairs" will be the first episode in four that appears to be building on the show's own mythology rather than the Marvel Universe's (last week's tied directly into the events of The Avengers).
