Marvel's Ant-Man won its second weekend in a row.

The diminutive superhero earned $24.7M this weekend, squeaking by Adam Sandler's video game-inspired Pixels, which grossed $24M in its debut weekend. Ant-Man received a huge boost on Saturday when it pulled in $9.8M, a 36% increase from Friday's total. While Pixels dropped 8% from in the same time frame-- $9.2M to $8.45M.

Ant-Man now has a global total of $226M and should pass 2008's The Incredible Hulk ($263.4M) some time in the next week.

Pixels may be off to okay start at best, but there is a chance for good word-of-mouth from teenagers and down as the 18 and under crowd gave it an 'A' CinemaScore. Adults were less thrilled with it and their scores pushed its CinemaScore average down to a 'B.'

Meanwhile, Minions will take third-place with $22M, Trainwreck takes the four spot with $17.1M and Southpaw debuted in fifth-place with $16.5M.
