Mighty Avengers #11: A Secret History Revealed In Original Sin Tie-In

Following up on yesterday's teaser image, Marvel Comics as announced that Mighty Avengers #11 will be an Original Sin tie-in issue. The Mighty Avengers go up against the Deathwalkers, but discover that this isn't the first time that a team bearing their name has done so. But why didn't anyone know until now? "The Deathwalkers plan to end the world is about to come to a terrifying head," says series writer Al Ewing. "So it's a good time to ask if they've ever tried it before. And it turns out they have – in 1972. Luckily, there were six people around to stop them." In 1972, Luke Cage's father teamed up with Blade, the Blue Marvel and other unlikely heroes to defeat the undead Deathwalkers, and sacrificed everything in the process.
