Mondo and Acme Archives are teaming up for a run of brand-new works of art based on Lucasfilm's two most well-known properties: Star Wars and Indiana Jones. With new films in the works on both, it's the perfect time to announce the new products.
The partnership will put screen prints by Mondo's top artists for sale for limited times, starting with a series of Star Wars profile character art by Mike Mitchell. Luke Skywalker kicks things off in a piece titled, "Red Five," his callsign when first joining the Rebellion.
"We've been a fan of Acme Archives and what they do for years. I think this partnership presents a really great opportunity for new properties, new artist relationships, and overall, a really exciting bunch of releases," said Mondo Creative Director Mitch Putnam in a press release.
"Star Wars never ceases to inspire me due to its breadth of wonderfully original and creative characters," said Mitchell. "I'm excited to have the opportunity to show you my favorites.
"Red Five" goes on sale on Thursday, March 17, and is only available for 72 hours. The print is giclee 12x16, and will be sold only at Acme Archives. Check out the full image below.
