File under: not all that surprising.

A new cafe has opened in Japan with meals and decor inspired by '80s toy line-turned-animation phenomenon My Little Pony.

The real question, of course, is what took them so long?

Surprisingly, though, most of the art appears to draw from the original 1980s iteration of the series rather than the more current Friendship is Magic take.

According to Rocket News 24, "This very special café will only be around until November 29, so make sure you head to Harajuku for a chance to dine in the land of pastel colors and magical ponies."

Decades into its lifespan, the My Little Pony franchise is far from being put out to pasture: Sony recently announced it intends to try and build a feature film franchise around it.
